Frequently Asked Questions

Is glō beginner-friendly?

Absolutely. Whether it's your first class or movement has been part of your routine for years, you're welcome at glō. Our instructors will guide you through class and offer modifications when needed.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so you have time to check in, get familiar with the studio and settle in before class.

Let your instructor know if it's your first time or if you have any injuries or limitations they should be aware of.

What should I bring?

Bring your mat and a water bottle, especially for heated classes. We have a water refill station available, and bottled water is also available for purchase.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move freely. For heated classes, lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended.

Sneakers are required for glō Cardio.

Do I need grip socks?

Grip socks are welcome, but not required. Bring your own or shop our selection at the studio.

Do I need Pilates or yoga experience?

Not at all. No previous Pilates or yoga experience is necessary. Our classes welcome a range of experience levels.

How hot are the heated classes?

Depending on the class format, our infrared-heated classes generally range from approximately 90–98°F.

I've never taken a heated class. Can I still come?

Absolutely. Come well hydrated, listen to your body and take breaks whenever you need them.

How often should I take class?

There's no one perfect number. Consistency matters more than anything else. Choose a schedule that works for your body, your goals and your lifestyle.

Can I take class if I'm pregnant or have an injury or medical condition?

If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or have a medical condition that could be affected by exercise or heat, please speak with your healthcare provider before attending.

Always let your instructor know before class so modifications can be offered when appropriate.

Is there an age requirement?

Guests 16 and older may attend class unaccompanied by an adult. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

How early should I arrive?

For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early. After that, please arrive at least 5 minutes before class so you have time to get settled.

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend reserving your spot in advance through the glō app or website, especially for popular class times.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 12 hours before class.

Cancellations made within 12 hours of class will be charged the full class price.

What is your no-show policy?

A no-show will result in the full class charge plus a $26 no-show fee.

Because class sizes are limited, this policy helps us keep spots available for clients who are waiting to attend.
